Lumplings,
also know as very fuzzy creatures that travel and live in
small herds and are made by Amy Rue.

Amy
Rue has been making bunny and cat dolls since childhood
from left over knits. These days
Amy makes those precious Lumplings for all of us to
enjoy, she still makes them from lucious knits and with a
whole lot of love. Lumpling hides are heirloom quality mohair,
pure cashmere, or soft minky. The Lumps are lumpy bumpy and
never perfect, which is just how Amy loves them. They are
usually between 8 and 11 inches tall and like to travel in
small herds.
The
thing I love best, next to the fact that they look so...”warm
and wonderfull” is the fact that the Lumpling have the best
names ever.
Who
would’t want lovely cuddly Lumps that are named “daffadown
and dilly” or “beddy and bye”. The names are words that
intrigue Amy or are words from books that she loved as a child
( and still does)Those names certainly add to the already
great charm of these Lumplings.
And
ofcourse if you have made all these precious Lumps, with those
wonderful names you don’t just put them on your website and
sell them...No.. you have proper adoptions. You want them to
have a good home, where they are loved and cared for.
So

has Lumpling "adoptions" almost every month. Hopeful
new Lumpling parents email Amy with the name of the Lumpling
that has captured their heart,and Amy emails back immediately
letting them know that the Lump is their new baby or that it
